Studying at IPPI
Introduction The academic activities at IPPI began in 1989 and during these years more than 100 M.Sc. students have been graduated from IPPI. In 1997 the first group of Ph.D. students started their research programs and a number of Ph.D. students have been graduated from IPPI. The duration of M.Sc. Courses at IPPI is two years and for Ph.D. degrees, it is four years. For both M.Sc.and Ph.D. degrees , students attend formal lectures followed by research projects. In addition to these higher degrees , IPPI also offers short courses in different areas of polymer science and technology. IPPI is well equipped for postgraduate research works offering a wide range of modern facilities for research in polymer science and technology. The M.Sc. degrees are awarded on the results of examinations consisting of both written and the submission of a dissertation.
Curriculum Requirements A total of at least 32 credits must be obtained. A total of 20 credits must be from the list of Mandatory courses. A total of 6 credits must be chosen from the list of Optional courses. A Master thesis of at least 9 credits.
